These answers are sometimes the only ones provided when assessing ethnicity. It becomes very exclusive to people who may not identify with any, or with multiple. By picking 'other', they're placed under an umbrella of diversities undeserving of their own category, which detracts from the user experience. This can be present in the form of surveys, sign-up forms, and the like. How can we as designers design to be more inclusive?
